PubNub is committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and ethical behavior in every jurisdiction where we operate. We maintain a zero-tolerance stance toward bribery and corruption in all its forms.

Our Commitment

We comply with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the UK Bribery Act, and all applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws worldwide. PubNub does not offer, promise, authorize, give, solicit, or accept any bribe, kickback, or improper benefit to obtain or retain business or secure an unfair advantage.

Who and What is Covered

This policy applies globally to all PubNub employees, officers, directors, contractors, and representatives, as well as to any third parties acting on our behalf.  “Anything of value” includes cash, gifts, hospitality, travel, charitable donations, internships, job offers, or other benefits, whether direct or indirect, that could influence a business decision. Facilitation or “grease” payments are prohibited, even where culturally customary.

Working with Third Parties

When engaging third parties such as agents, consultants, joint ventures, or subcontractors, PubNub requires:

Written agreements containing anti-corruption clauses and transparency obligations.

Monitoring and recordkeeping of relevant activities, especially those involving government officials.

Training, Monitoring, and Enforcement

PubNub provides regular training to employees on anti-bribery and corruption compliance, including recognizing risks, handling third-party relationships, and maintaining accurate records. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, and may lead to civil or criminal penalties. 

Reporting

Concerns or suspicions of bribery or corruption must be reported immediately to privacy@pubnub.com. Reports are handled with discretion, and retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith is strictly prohibited.
